I have lived the years of childhood and adolescence in the heart of southwestern Piedmont in a small town rich in history, Saluzzo, in the Province of Cuneo.
After studying at Geology at the University of Turin, I moved to Alba, the cradle of wine culture, where I have transformed a passion into a true profession and specialized in the field of tourism, thus becoming a major player in catering from waiter to chef de rang and finally to maitre.
I obtained a diploma of Sommelier at the headquarters AIS Asti now when my career in the field was initiated and after working in world-class restaurants and wine bars in the main area, I also received the ‘professional qualification .
“I really believe in food and wine communication to everyone, everyone can understand, everyone has a mouth, a nose and a taste!”
For this a few years ago I created a facebook group called Tastings & Surroundings with this aim: to disseminate the knowledge and the culture of wine through simple and comprehensible languages to all.
In those years did the collaboration with Radio 103 Cuneo for a transmission wine pairing music (podcasts on the sitewww.radio103.it/cuneo ), with the online newspaper Cuneo point , various blogs in Italy including things Taste of the Other and abroad on behalf of Select Italy , Chicago agency that deals with the valorisation of the made in Italy food.
I have been recognized as a territorial leader of Piemonte for the RomaGastronomitaly organization, for which I have followed the realization of food and wine tours in the territory by collaborating with various organizations including the Langa Travel promotion association of Grinzane Cavour.
At the end of 2014 I met Emanuela Pagani, Sommelier Milanese, who at that time worked for a distribution and together on the wave of our mutual passion, we decided to pass on to an accurate selection of wine producers throughout Italy, creating direct contacts.
Since 2017 we are part of the Knights of the Order of Knights of Truffle and Alba Wines.
